Behavioral Health EHR Software

ICANotes is a comprehensive electronic health record ( EHR / EMR ) system designed by a clinical psychiatrist for the mental health specialty. This behavioral health software helps clinicians quickly and easily create detailed, thorough, and individualized electronic mental health records with no typing or dictating. Practice management functionality is included for scheduling, e-prescribing, billing, and reporting.

ICANotes supports a variety of clinical disciplines and settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health programs. The program also supports sub-specialists working with Children and Adolescents, Substance Abusers, Eating Disorders, and Geropsychiatric Patients. ICANotes automatically determines the highest billable coding level your note supports so you can confidently bill at the maximum level of reimbursement.

ICANotes helps mental health providers:

  • Reduce documentation time
  • Eliminate transcription expenses
  • Minimize your medical-legal risk
  • Code at the maximum level of reimbursement
  • Qualify for Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentives

ICANotes is web based, allowing you to easily and securely access and work on your patient records from any computer or smart phone with an internet connection. You can be up and running with a secure, hassle-free EHR solution in minutes without changing your existing processes and without a large capital investment.

I have used 6 different EMRs and hands down this is without peer. User friendly (and modifiable), developed, as most other EMRs are not, with the clinical note driving the rest of the features. ICANotes resides in the cloud, obviating the dual hassles of maintenance and upgrades. It is quick and easy--allowing for concurrent documentation. In addition to the clinical note, I use the prescription writer, scheduler, and billing software. E billing is done with a few simple mouse clicks.
