Credit Card Processing
ICANotes has partnered with Complete Merchant Solutions to offer a convenient and seamless integration of credit card charges from within the ICANotes Patient Accounts Ledger. Charges are automatically deposited into the bank account of your choice. When you charge a patient's card, the charge gets posted automatically in the patient's accounting area in ICANotes.
CMS facilitates electronic payment processing for Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, EBT, Debit Cards, Gift & Loyalty cards, as well as ACH and checks. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you will always be able to get the help you need, when you need it.
For more information about integrated credit card processing, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
After establishing an account with CMS, you can purchase a card reader and swipe credit cards to have the charge processed automatically in ICANotes. If you already have a card reader, try it first. Note, however, that only card readers which function as a keyboard will work. Some have proprietary software that is not compatible with ICANotes. This card reader, the MagTek Magstrike Mini, has been successfully tested with ICANotes.

We have been processing credit card payments via ICANotes without any problems or glitches. The system has not frozen and we have never had to wonder if the payment was processed or not, unlike our previous practice management systems. The gateway support system allowed us to configure the type and amount of notification we receive. For example, we currently get an email copy of the transaction within seconds of the card being processed. I get a daily summary email with all transactions within the last 24 hours. The merchant rates are less than we were previously paying and the sign up process was very smooth. I cannot say enough nice things about credit card processing via ICANotes and would not hesitate to recommend this service to any other ICANotes users.
